My Life In Five Years
I want to be a specialist of my major field of study. My future plan did not make yet, but I’m sure to make a study of North Korean studies continually. I gave up my duplex major “Hispanic Language and Literature”, because I determined study my major deepening. Also I scheduled to become a graduate student of Graduate School of Policy Studies. I wonder if I can enter this institution. I wish it, just. I would like to research more about the North Korea, having abnormal dictatorship and relates to the whole world.

I will become a peace-maker, a scholar. My life’s motto is “Be Lively.” This means always live busily, not lazy and live more energetic than the former day. As result, I have to do much effort for my ideal goal.
My life in Five Years
I love the music. R&B(rhythm and blues), Ballad, Rock, Classical music especially solo instrumental, Rap or Hiphop, Dance are my favorite music genre. Among these, Classical music has been become challengeable work to me as I like making one myself. I can play the piano, the violin and other wind instruments. I learned the piano for 10 years, however I can’t well enough because I stop learning the instrument long ago. Last year my friend and I used to go around to playing the piano. Then I became aware of my playing ability was bad condition. 
Moreover, I was in crisis that my own piano was gone. In next five years, I would like to play my violin as well by much effort myself. I respect the performer Liszt, became renowned throughout Europe during the 19th century. My favorite notes in his music are “Liebestraum”, “La Campanella”.
Also I like “Liebesleid” performed by Kreisler. When I listen to my own music that means the music including my feelings to original music, I will keep on enriched living. At the same time I want to show my ability to my family and friends, and they feel comfortable on busy days.
Social Issue
I am interested in the debate about Sejong City. I am affected by Sejong City issue because this is very important news story. 
I think Pyongyang or Kaesong should be a new administrative capital. Sejong City habitants and neighbors are affected most this issue. Also real estate appraisers and other people benefit from “the second capital”. They will make a profit or lose their money. 
This is very sensitive issue on our society these days. Last president Roh insisted on this issue as his pledge but he couldn’t carry out his promise. Some people advocate to the government why they should not do this project. They have even held violent demonstrations. I think this is awful situation.
As my major is North Korean studies and my major students and I will unite Korea soon, the capital is higher than Seoul. A gap between South and North has to dwindle as soon as possible. Therefore the administrative capital must be relocated to the north. Almost every Korean, including me, opposes this issue. Moreover, our campus is located in Jochiwon near the site. I refer to daily news site and dictionary. I heard Arirang radio in December 1st that saying Prime Minister Chung Un-chan. Also I read the news KBS WORLD and referred to Korea Net.

Getting to Know One by E-mail Interview
My e-mail interview partner is Yang Dong-wook. My former partner didn’t respond so he became my new partner. We are of the same age but he is majoring Chemistry.
When I introduced myself, I told him that I like Hanmaum. He answered that he likes to but his friends usually go to buy-the-way
in front of Hanmaum. I think he is polite person because he apologized me for sending late a reply letter. Unfortunately, He has exams last week and also this week and that he cannot go around with his girlfriend. He will have to study alone or with his girlfriend for this weekend. Maybe He will go to Seoul to release stress with her. Otherwise his hometown is Busan. He doesn’t usually go home because Busan is far away from here and it takes such a lot of time and money to get there. He already has a room in Seoul, I think he goes to school every day by train or bus. He had to stay in Seoul during vacations to study English and he thinks it is good because there are lots of interesting things and better environment to study. If I study in Seoul, I don’t study at all as playing around. By the way, I don’t know what I can do for me or our country. However he already has his own future plan; he wants to work in a pharmaceutical company. Also he wants to invent new medicines and vaccines of incurable diseases. I suggested him “Why don’t you invent a digester for perfect cure?”, and he said that is considerable issue. I was moved by the movie “Twilight”, so I’ll watch the releasing on next month “New Moon”. While he will look through the reviews of the movie “New Moon” and if it is good, he will try to watch it. I like hero movie such as Spider Man, Bat Man, Bon series especially Bon Supremacy. He doesn’t really care of the genre about movies. He likes horror, thriller, romantic and action movies. However, he doesn’t like comedy movies because sometimes it is not funny at all.
Getting to Know My Classmate
I think that my partner Hye-rim is a warm person, as she has a soft smile with hers eyes, so I felt happy during our interview. She is 21 years old in Korean age, but her birthday is January and she is a junior. She has studied English Literature at Korea University in Jochiwon(There is a point below map). She has lived in Bundang in Kyunggi Province and she comes to school by bus every day.
She often feels tired because of the bus and the people. What a pity! I have lived in the dormitory since last year so, I don’t know that feeling fatigue. Moreover, she has to take a midterm on seven subjects and I only have four exams. She seems to be a good example to other students. She took a rest in resting room for women in the library, yesterday. I wondered why doesn’t she live in the dormitory and she said, “There is no privacy so I fell uncomfortable.” I don’t have boyfriend and she doesn’t as well. She has something in common with me. Her favorite singer is Jeong-yeop and his best song is “You are my lady.“ and “Nothing Better“ I also agree! She learned to dance during summer vacation. She can dance Abracadabra song by Brown Eyed Girls. I envy her ability.
She wants to travel to Bora Bora Island in French Polynesia located in the South Pacific. She said that the sea’s color is changes all day. I want to see the fantastic ocean.
I can’t live without my caroumel!
In my childhood, I had a nausea in cars. Whenever I feel sick to my stomach, I eat the caroumel “Secomdalcom“. Then I feel surprisingly! I think that I pretended to be ill. I like sour tasting dishes and this caroumel gives me a similar satisfaction. Nowaydays, I don’t have motion sickness but I buy my caroumel about twice a week, only. I am a lucky person, because I get pleasure on only 300won! I can’t live without it! It was released in 1988 by the Crown company. It has various flavors; strawberry, grape, lemon and coke. Lemon flavor is my favorite but, sadly, I can’t find this type in the market around my area in Jochiwon. Therefore, I eat strawberry or grape caroumels. My friends also like this caroumel because of me! I hope to eat Secomdalcom forever.
My Favorite Blogs
My favorite blogs are about street design. For my class, I had my often visit web blogs. Street Graffiti is very creative, rare and often fantastic. One blog about graffiti is Wooster Collective. It is about a Soho in New York City. Bristol Graffiti blog is also about street wall art. I think that cement wall painted graffiti looks exciting. Finally, I also read Madness Wall. I like graphic style on this site. It is very impressive especially the posts about “Bodies in urban spaces“. These blogs will convert people to enjoying street art.
My Fantastic Dream Vacation
Actually, I don’t want to go abroad. I don’t know why I think that, but it may be true that I have an anxiety about travel. However, I have a plan to travel all around my country. When I travel, I can be conscious of my national feelings. Therefore, I can teach foreigners about Korea and its culture and customs.
Some places that I have never gone to are unique natural and cultural attractions. First I want to go to Dok-do and Ullungdo. I would like to know about Korean territory and I will insist that other nations, especially Japan are made aware that two Korea territory. If the two Korea will unite someday, I will decide to visit North Korea. I am eager for Korea to unite and harmonize. One place that I want to go is Dok-do. It is an island and has wonderful scenery, clear ocean, it is called the East Sea, and fresh winds. Above all, I want to let you know that this island doesn’t belong to Japan. I will spend my vacation in Pyeongyang, North Korea. Thesedays, We can go there is, difficult and a strict process. I will go there if the two Koreas unite someday.
I am going to write a poem about the beautiful nature. I must feel the wind, sea and scents of the wilderness. Thus, I am going to meet friends living in Pyeongyang. I wonder what are they think about their Father(Kim Jong-il). Finally, I’d like to take a train on the Trans-Siberian Railway and I can look at many countries that I have never known before. I am sure that must be wonderful! It is a key to my dream vacation that two Koreas are unified. Then I can travel to Busan, Seoul, Pyeongyang, Vladivostok and Moscow. I don’t know when, but I hope the day comes ASAP. After about ten years, when I study more North Korea Studies. I want to play an important role in North-South Korea relationships. I want to go with my colleagues that I often meet and go research with, but it is not bad to go alone. My vacation is not to rest but to do research. To see is to believe! Therefore, I am eager to exprience my nation and let everybody know about it. I will travel for about three months. As an expert on NK-Studies, I have to obtain excellent results. If I don’t get any information during my three months, I cannot stay there longter.
I can take a ship in Pohang on the East coast. To get Pyeongyang also takes a little time. I can take a train in Seoul for two and a half hours. Train is best way to travel from Siberia to Europe. I can use a sleeping berth in train. I believe it is worth paying for. It will not be expensive, it will be valuable.
